File upload audit/Determine if file is being uploaded. - winodino - Dec 6, 2019 Hello hackforums! I'm trying to write some software for enterprise software auditing. So basically I have an employee who sends a PDF as an attachment or uploads a zip file to google drive. My goal is to log this. Methods I've tried. FileSystemWatcher Class (System.IO) - This only checks if a file is changed on the disk, won't work. .Net Microsoft Network Monitor(Packet sniffing) - Works if SSL isn't in play. Being this day in age, everyone uses HTTPS. This would be ideal since I can log the hostname and file being uploaded. Anyone have any ideas? 🤝 RE: File upload audit/Determine if file is being uploaded. - MavenGradle - Dec 6, 2019 Google is actually very developer friendly, believe it or not. Since you mentioned that you're using .NET for this, you can very well utilize their API's: https://developers.google.com/drive https://developers.google.com/drive/api/v3/about-sdk The part that you're probably interested in: https://developers.google.com/drive/api/v3/change-overview This can be done with other programming languages as well and examples are ready for studying purposes here: https://github.com/gsuitedevs |
