This is my cumulative earnings from when I started flipping. It started off slow for sure, but over time it has grown into something beautiful for me. Persistence, scale, effort to learn pay off big time. I'm lucky to have made very little mistakes, and when I did, with low cost items.
Keep in mind the sum is GROSS. That is before any expenses claimed back. If you want a net figure, think about 50% of the gross. But I'm not bothered about my own personal income from this. I will be reinvesting into buying things after Christmas. The money is there, it's just a matter of being ready to pounce.
I have around $11,000 of items currently for sale worth about $350 on average.
This year has definitely been a slow bastard. But it has laid the foundations for something great long term. Next years goal is to make $80,000 gross. $20,000/quarter on average. I feel it's definitely in my reach. Since September 1st I made $12,800 gross and there is 3 weeks still to go. Some of that can be attributed to Christmas sales, sure, but there are also other intentions at play.
I want to diversify my stock. I've always leaned towards x over y or vice versa depending on how my wallet is. Now things are a bit easy going in that regard I can afford to be more things to more people.
