[GPU Troubleshoot] Dead GPU ? - Zeffor - Dec 19, 2019 Swapped to Ryzen recently. My PC will boot & my mobo will light up. Heres the issue: When my GPU (ASRock RX580 if it matters), my PC turns to dogsh*t. Won’t turn on, no light from the mobo anymore. Another issue is that when I try running my PC with no GPU installed, I get no video signal. Yes, everything is seated properly, pls don’t tell me that. I first suspected dead mobo, but could it be that my GPU is no good? Sorry if this is a dumb as f*ck post, but I’m rly tryna watch some VR hentai & I need my PC to work for that. RE: [GPU Troubleshoot] Dead GPU ? - Breeze26509 - Dec 19, 2019 Well you're gonna have no video signal with no GPU installed, because (presumably) you bought a Ryzen CPU without integrated graphics. It's kind of like living life without eyes. You're not gonna see shit without them. Is this a brand new GPU, or is it pulled from a previous system? It's kind of like living life without eyes. You're not gonna see Clay Davis without them. Pulled from my previous system (meaning my old mobo setup), I’m noticed one pin on the PCI connector on the GPU is slightly shorter than the rest, so I’m praying that’s not the issue. Also thanks for that AMD tip, I wasn’t aware |
