Doesn't iOS count the battery percentage ? - Stephanie Medlock - Dec 20, 2019 I have an iPhone X, which is on iOS 13.3, which battery is at 97% capacity. I mostly charge my phone to 85% or 90%, after recharge my phone I reboot it and battery is standing at 95% or 97% if I recharge it to 90%, and if I charge it to 85% then it's on at 92% or something after reboot... If I use cellular data, battery drains like hell, like I watch YouTube from 4G it drains 35% to 40% in half an hour, after watching a half-hour video I reboot it then iOS give to me 20% more battery life. And if I don't reboot my phone, the % is stuck... RE: Doesn't iOS count the battery percentage ? - ClemHarvey - Dec 23, 2019 There are countless times where I’m using my iPhone X and happen to glance at the percentage and realize it’s way too low and I’d better charge it - frequently at 1%. Apple has forced me to be Buddhist and not grow attached to material things… :( So be my guest, the time is there on the Home Screen, Apple has proven that it is possible to display a number in that space. Why not: 1) Alternate time and battery percentage in same space where time is displayed. 2) Alternate battery icon and percentage in the battery space. 3) Let someone create an app that is simply a home screen icon that shows the battery percentage in the icon, and updates says once a minute. We do have tons of tips on iPhone battery draining issue, but this initial Battery percentage made by Apple just cannot delight me. RE: Doesn't iOS count the battery percentage ? - ETH - Jan 6, 2020 Maybe it's your real battery problem go to the apple store explain and if it present within warranty they will do it RE: Doesn't iOS count the battery percentage ? - LoremIpsum - Jan 6, 2020 (Jan 6, 2020 05:13 AM)ETH Wrote: Maybe it's your real battery problem go to the apple store explain and if it present within warranty they will do it Best advice ever. @OP, Do as ETH suggests you, because they can calibrate the battery for you and check it with a system to see if there are any flaws. If you wait too long and the warranty is over, you will pay a big price to get it fixed. |
