And why do you think anyone here cares about this that much that you needed to create a whole thread dedicated to it? If that is his price, that is his decision, who are you to judge it? You can simply reject his offer, but you decided to cry over it. If you think it's too much, find someone else, otherwise do it yourself without spending a single penny.

I think that people like OP don't understand the difference between value and price.
Price = this shoe costs $10,000 because it got that special brand
Value = this watch costs $10,000 because it has expensive parts in it which make it run better
Difference = $10,000 for being able to go to a Hospital to get your lump removed surgically is priceless, while you can walk on shoes of $10 too.
Now tell me. Is the shoe worth more than the watch? Is the watch a better investment than getting any 'potential dangerous' lump removed?
It's not about 'what did I get' it's about 'could I do this myself?'. If you can't do it yourself, you must appreciate those who spent time, effort and money at developing the skill to help you out with your request.
Bad example perhaps, but the point is that you are paying for the skill (= time + money + effort + experience) of the user / seller, not for just the end result. Like a painting. You can paint anything yourself, but selling it for 300 Million, that's where value is added to the 'normal' or 'overpriced' item by those who value the skills of the artist, instead of grabbing a paintbrush and start copying his / her work. ✌
