It was banned for botting in 2016 so i just appealed and got it unbanned.
if you have any old accounts banned you can try appealing

I think there was a post some months ago about the unbanning of pre-2017 accounts.

I'm gonna give this a shot. I have an account from 2006 with 500 hours in rs3 and osrs that;'s been banned a few times for macro. All squashed but the last one 2 years ago.
How did you appeal it?

Thanks. I sent it in. What did you use as the reason? I put "i made a mistake would like to apologize."
It was a macro ban, but i talked to twitter support before and they said my account was banned for "changing hands too many times."

One of my accs I made got banned for botting when I never had a bot client installed.
The appeal was denied.
Fuck Jagex in their toothless british mouths.

They definitely are. My 17 year old "main" account got unbanned after getting hacked and botted on. It didn't actually get hacked, I just happened to move countries and decided to bot on my main like a stupid idiot to make some quick cash and sell it. It gave me the option to owe up and apologise, so that's what I clicked. I figured that'd be the only one that would work, and it ended up paying off.
Haven't botted a minute since, started on a new main in the meantime and manually grinded it much further than I could've ever imagined. 10/10 would do again tbh

Lol that’s kinda epic OP. Happy scaping on your OG account. I won’t blame you if you decide to bot again but keep in mind it’ll probably be more difficult to get unbanned a second time. Did you keep your botted stats?
