Python Account Checker - Sympth - Jan 15, 2020

Ok, so I want to learn how to make an account checker. The main issue I have is finding out the POST link along with the headers that I need to send the account info to. I am going to start off with Spotify. Ik its been done a million times but just want to try and learn the basics of it. Anyone able to give me an example of a account checker made in python or even help me out with finding the link I need to be sending the account info to. I understand trying to find it with the dev tools using the browser.

Are you just looking to validate usernames? If so, simply do a request to "https://open.spotify.com/user/{username}" and check the status code. 200 means taken, 404 means it's available:

Redirect happens if you put uppercase in the URL

I don't know if this is allowed, but I was Ideally looking for an account checker like crack accounts. Runs a combo list and tries to log in to the accounts.

I think the login only requires captcha from using the website. If you use the API to log in it doesn't need a captcha or if set the user agent to an iPhone it doesn't. As I know that's how they are made. As there is proxy less Spotify account checkers out there.

Network
Python requests

You can do it within max couple hours.Most website protect their back-ends i can also recommend selenium library.Check github for source codes there is tons of it.

Thanks for the reply, I know a little bit about python-requests about sending data as well as receiving data. I will take a look at Github now aswell!
