WeLeakInfo Seized - iTHX - Jan 16, 2020 This is pretty sad, WLI was good for PI. I know there's people that make their money solely from WLI. Rest in peace. 🤗
RE: WeLeakInfo Seized - LoremIpsum - Jan 16, 2020 There was a thread like this already. Too bad to see that everything is being seized or closed. Yeah, sorry if this is a duplicate. I thought I was early. And yes, it is a shame, to think something that is meant to be white-hat and to help society could be shut down. Not sure, but take a look here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6041375 The major companies are allowed to 'sell' your information, but as soon as we try to find any database we are the 'hackers'. I think it's a corrupt system, but I'm unable to change it, just trying to open people's eyes. I read that the seizure is temporary. edit: I actually think the site isn't even seized and it's just a troll while they fix bugs. I was on the site a few minutes before the seizure image popped up, said there was a data cluster issue. RE: WeLeakInfo Seized - Zher0 - Jan 16, 2020 There are rumors that it was hacked and that's a false seizure notice. Either way - the notice is false. 🤦♂ RE: WeLeakInfo Seized - Silkroad - Jan 16, 2020 They're either trolling or got hacked, the font they used where it says "this domain has been seized" isn't even the same as the real one. RE: WeLeakInfo Seized - eGod - Jan 16, 2020 This is fake, there's not doubt. RE: WeLeakInfo Seized - Gashi - Jan 16, 2020 Seen quite a few of websites using CloudFlare getting seized without the actual server getting seized. Not sure if that's the case here. RE: WeLeakInfo Seized - skipmaster82 - Jan 16, 2020 Guys this isn't fake. Do your research. It's literally on the DOJ website - https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/weleakinfocom-domain-name-seized RE: WeLeakInfo Seized - Riԁdle - Jan 16, 2020 Looks like only domain name was seized from what I've seen and read, TLD is com so, server is probably not located in US otherwise they would have seized that too, unless, they did seize the server as well and didn't write it in the article. probably will see another mirror website (weleakinfo wasn't the first one anyways). But in this case it's a different story, nobody signs up to a website to have their credentials leaked, and hacked and tbh. I'm surprised that WLI was up for so long on the clear web. Best of luck to the admins in court, hopefully they have some good lawyers. |
