Banner Design/Illustration - Infamous - Ser - Jan 17, 2020
What's up.
Been practicing my illustration skills lately for the group Infamous. Bare with me, because I am quite literally a horrible illustrator, but trying to improve my skills. This is a first.
Let me know what you think, all constructive criticism is appreciated!

It looks good big but shrunk is not so great. Maybe cus it’s blurry. Something about it doesn’t look right. Other than that great job!

Not a big fan of the A and M personally. It looks nice on the first time i see it, the more i look at it tho, the more it looks weirder.

Hundred percent. It really shouldn’t be shrunk because it’s rasterized so it loses quite a bit of depth honestly.

Appreciate the comment, definitely need to work on my lighting and shadow placement. Only got so much of a grasp at the moment.

No drop shadow was used (blending effects per se), but just used a soft black brush to make everything a little more vibrant.

Looking good in larger format, but I think the "A" and the "M" aren't as clear in the smaller version of it.
Overall a great design! 🤝

Looks pretty good. I'm not too much of a fan of the colors. I like the red better (not sure if they changed their colors, etc just what I remember it being).
The glow intensity I feel doesn't quite add up on the sides. The glow on the orange side looks more like a nice glare whereas the glow on the blue looks like an actual glow. Not sure if that makes sense, lol. It's probably the blending settings maybe? Like one side is on Color Dodge and the other is on Linear Dodge.
