Registrar suspended my accounts for abusing promotional coupons - James Burnham - Jan 23, 2020
A registrar was offering some nice discount coupons that could be applied only once per account. I created 2 accounts and registered 2 domains, pointed them to my hosting and all good. They are still alive and the sites are fully functional. But I can't login the registrar and I can't transfer the domains or renew them or anything. The domains are registered with my correct info. Is there a way to initiate a transfer without having access to the registrar? Maybe through an icann request or something?

Depends on your domain, it should have a main panel like we have in Romania for ".ro" domains ( https://www.rotld.ro )
You can access it with an email/password generated when you bought the domain / received it.
Else, just try to contact the support for the registrar and try to SE them into getting back in your account.
Have you tried changing password though? Maybe that'll work?..

Your current registrar has to "release" and unlock them as well as provide you with a transfer code. I would recommend contacting your current registrar. I am sure if they aren't willing to give you access back to your account they will at least help you transfer the domains.

I didn't know there were such panels. The domains are .com ones though

I hope so. I am dumb. I spent days filtering domains, it would suck if I would completely lose them.

I believe it's 60 days from domain creation before you can transfer. And if you abused their promotion then likely you're going to lose these domains. Best option is to wait maybe 90 days then try to contact support for login to the account and maybe you can transfer then.

Update: Issue resolved. I paid the difference and they gave me access.

lol wanted to contact icann after you committed fraud.. and of course they gave you access after you paid for the loss you caused them. lesson for you is dont rip off companies via promo codes as more then not got you via IP.
