Help with cloudflare and domain transferring. - Brignac - Feb 18, 2020 Hey! I need to set up a domain on a website-making service, but they only allow CloudFlare. I need to buy a domain and transfer it to CloudFlare basically, but I need to wait 60 days to do that. Is there any way around that? Can I purchase a domain from CloudFlare? RE: Help with cloudflare and domain transferring. - Shisho - Feb 18, 2020 As far as I know Cloudflare Registrar only allows you to transfer domains to them. I don’t know of any way to register a domain with them. RE: Help with cloudflare and domain transferring. - Squito - Feb 19, 2020 There is no need to transfer domains to CloudFlare or buy one through them (which you can't do, because you can't buy domains from them). You have to register an account at CloudFlare (I highly recommend enabling 2FA), add your domain name and CF will tell you what nameservers you have to set. Go to your domain registrar (if you haven't bought a domain yet, I'd suggest https://namecheap.com), login to their control panel and replace the default nameservers with the 2 nameservers provided by CF. When the transition is complete, CF will send you an email. NC has really excellent support. Stay away from godaddy. They’ve been known to take your domain and their support is a pain.
