I just waited a month to see my girlfriend again just for the weekend and shes supposed to fly out here tomorrow. But they cancelled her flight because it's overbooked. Now i have to wait another month to see her. Fuck ryanair theyre full of shit. Never use their services don't let their cheap prices distract u.

Many airlines do this but luckily I've never had my ticket cancelled. Ryanair is a different level of shit anyways and you can fly across Europe for 50 euros with much better airlines

RYANAIR looks like a UK/EU airline. USA has some budgets that suck too. I refuse to fly Spirit Airlines after having about 3 major problems with flights. Never again. They don't even care about making it right with a free flight voucher or a steep discount. You're lucky to get a free beverage for a 12 hour delay.

It's insane... Her return flight isn't being refunded and the only refund she gets from this flight is a "credit" refund meaning she can only use it to spend it on another flight with THEIR company. This feels illegal but it isnt apparently It's just very scummy.

It's no different in USA. Almost no buyer protection in the law from airline abuse.
I think they have to give you $250 max for lost luggage otherwise they expect you to buy flight insurance separately. What a fucking joke. You can also take them to court, even small claims, which you'll likely win. But the airlines are betting that most people won't, and don't, bother with that.
They can ruin your vacation. You could lose out on work, hotel and car rentals reservations and they won't give you a dime. Not to mention if it's a special event like a wedding or a funeral which missing means you can never experience it again. AND what if it's your whole family? You wife might miss work for nothing. It's just infuriating imho.

Why would anyone buy Ryanair tickets when there are so many other options that won’t screw you like that.
Be glad she wasn’t in transit, trust me, Ryanair literally cancels connecting flights mid transit.

It was 100$ cheaper and we're tight on money at the moment.
