Why people love HF? - Pikzul - Feb 20, 2020
I know its an abstract type of question, however it is interesting to know and explain/read why all of us love this site so much? I can simply say for me it is totally the community. Most people are pretty cool, helpful, and want to contribute to the community. I do see "a lot" of low quality type of stuff very often but that is inevitable in a community this large.
For the most part, since I've joined.. I visit on and off at least once a week and enjoy several things HF offers. The number one thing that has kept me here is the community, rule enforcement, and variety of things to learn/earn/spend/trade on.
Just to express before you're done reading, I want to know more since I really enjoy the site alot... why are YOU here? 🕵️

No, no I never said I didn't like it I just want to see why everyone else does to see the diverse opinions.
I love HF and don't get on much - I want to know what everyone else sees.

For me the biggest appeal of HF is the changes we continue to do that evolves HF. We are not the same site we were 5 years ago. For some that's a negative but for me it's important we grow and avoid being boring. I've made drastic changes to HF many times over the years. It causes an exodus sometimes but then things settle down and HF seems fresher for it. It can be anything from a policy change, design implementation, or a new feature. HF can be an exciting community to be apart of.

The biggest appeal for me is the nostalgia from seeing what the site was, way back from 2010-2012, to now. As much change as it may has gone through, the feel is exactly the same for me. Plus, the constant variety of content makes for good conversation on many different topics, with many different opinions.

This to! Seems like a come on weekly to see new things always coming up. I’m on many similar forums and none seem to put out as constant updates.

I been a member for 9 years is really why I like HF
I use to like it for people my age to connect and talk to back in the day this was a real tech savy place
and I felt like people around me were idiots. With the new technology I dont really keep up much I still got a $40
walmart phone. And I dont keep up with any of the new social media's I only got a fb and twitter after that I stopped
giving in to them but I am on hf more then fb and twitter I do love this place its pretty chill
