Need Help with Divi Builder - Sacred Symmetry - Feb 25, 2020

Hey guys, Long time since ive posted on HF.

I seem to have an issue with Divi Builder crashing wordpress, the moment i activate the theme its bombs out and spits either an HTTP 500 error on both front/back end or "critical error on your website"

i have tested this with a fresh wp isntall and 9/10 times this happens. what do?

It's probably the memory limit.

Go to your cPanel, find where all your files are and look for .htaccess file. Sometimes it's hidden so you'll need to check "show hidden files". Click edit on .htaccess it will open it in text editor, and make sure to add this line:

php_value memory_limit xxxM

You can play around with all of these:

php_value upload_max_filesize 64M

php_value post_max_size 64M

php_value max_execution_time 300

php_value max_input_time 300

This may be is an issue with memory limit. Go to wp-config and paste the code below before the "/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */" comment.

Thanks Guys Seems to have stopped the crashing, however. everything is Uber slow haha. might just be my hosting provider in this instance
