Just saw "Your Name" (Kimi no Na wa) - Sugawara - Mar 1, 2020

I don't watch Anime movies, but this was an exception. I watched the Japanese version w/ Subtitles, I prefer watching the OG one instead of dubbed for some reason. This was a suggestion by couple of friends and reading the synopsis made me watch this masterpiece.
I loved the characters, story, built up and design sketches. One of the most heart whelming film which made me cry for hours Well literally
Makoto Shinkai leaves no mistake in the direction and script. Just a perfect for a perfect weekend.

Have you watched it? If yes, what are your views?

Great movie overall. One of the better movies I've seen.

I loved the movie, don't think I have seen a better one atleast when it comes to anime movies. "Koe no Katachi" ( Silent Voice ) is amazing too and comes very close for me, so if you liked "Your Name" check it out.

Silent voice is next in my list. I'm taking some time to recover from 'Kimi Na No Wa'. Never thought an anime could create such impact.

Good choice, I would recommend watching "The Boy and the Beast" before that one. A Silent Voice is pretty dark, and would take you way longer to recover from.

Have you seen his other movies?

Garden of Words, 5 Centimeters per Second?

The literature is strong in these movies.
