Have you ever done any kind of volunteer work, for local organizations, health services or anything similar?
I heard about "Online Volunteering" too, has anyone ever tried it?

I do volunteer work all the time bud. I am actually looking to probably start a non-profit in the future.

Difference between community service and volunteering, one is your free will other is mandated.

Technically it was volunteer work. And it was a place I used to volunteer at when I was young. As an Adult, My career makes it difficult to have time with my family, let alone volunteer. Show me one adult that would willingly lose a week of pay and have their job threatened just to volunteer.

Volunteering is good for the soul. I do it on occasion.
I volunteer at an annual cancer walk, as well as helping with cutting wood and serving Thanksgiving dinner for the elderly through a local helping hand organization.
It's pretty nice, and if you find someone who runs an organization that is a bit younger, they will sometimes throw in some beer or other perks for helping out.

Yup I have done my fair share of volunteer work in my lifetime. Just looking to get out there and do something proactive.

Yeah, worked multiple times at a Ping Pong tournament for handicapped players, picking up balls and helping around. It was a great feeling to help

Yes, I've done some volunteer work and some random acts of kindness. Not recently though except things in regards to this covid-19.

I wanted to join the Red Cross project in my country for the current situation. Changed my mind cause I figured I will get in contact with a lot of people and I am currently quarantined with my family.

I moved to Africa from Sweden, did some volunteer work and now got a high payed job at UN.
