This is a late suggestion, it would be a lot better if this was suggested before, but it still might be a good idea.
This is purely for entertainment, it won't benefit HF in any way.
39 people currently bought the corona virus award. They received the award on their profile, random hackuman egg, and scratchcard.
No one knows when corona will be gone completely and as long as it's here it will be a popular topic everywhere, there are threads about corona every day.
What if there was a temporary infected group with its own userbar. I'm talking about the upgrade groups (leet, uber), not about the private groups.
There wouldn't be an option to upgrade to it, instead, you would get in a group once you buy the corona virus award.
No benefits, no group chat, just userbar.
I'm not sure who designed classic userbars but I can guess Novica did. I assume it wouldn't take too much time for him or the guy who designed them to do it. Using the original UB template, adding a little corona virus https://i.imgur.com/w4l79Tq.jpg and making Inf3ct3d.
Group and userbar would be gone once corona is, or they could stay and be rare since only those who bought the award would wear that userbar.
Thoughts?

I hope they find it worth investment!
Each award is 50$ so I think investing in a UB is not a big deal.

A site that I don't think I can mention has a new system where users have a chance of getting infected by replying to people in a thread. Eventually, the whole site will have corona. You know if someone's infected by a green outline on their post.

This seems like a good idea. Would give people something more to buy the Corona Virus Award for. This will help support Omni as well. Neat addition it shall, all I can say. Lets see if Omni approves of this as well.

Maybe there can also be just an effect that will make our current userbar infected, it would look very cool imo.
