😝 Hello, and welcome to Prodigy's Common FAQ + Question Booth 😝

First thing first, you're a beginner right? Please, take the time to read the help documentation so that hackforums will be the best place possible!

The goal of such thread is to complete, and do the following:
  • 1. Discontinue the same topics asked daily, and analyze the most common questions into this one post.


  • 2. Help people whenever is needed, and have a thread containing useful information.


  • 3. Let people be aware that alot of us do care to help you



So, first things first - The most common questions!
  • 1. What is a RAT? - Remote Administration Tool, lets you control the victim's pc, keylog, etc.

  • 2. What is a Keylogger? - A trojan that captures the victims keystrokes, and alerts the controller/owner.

  • 3. What is a BlackHat? - Black hat is used to describe a hacker who has malicious intent.

  • 4. What is a WhiteHat? - White hat hackers are usually security experts, who specialize in penetration testing, etc - however being one doesn't mean automatically good at penetration testing, nor being security expert. That can go without saying to any hat.

  • 5. What is a BotNet? - A network of bots, infected by a controller who can make the bots all perform actions at once.

  • 6. What is a Portforwarding? -Port forwarding helps you to open up a port so you can host servers, etc.

  • 7. What is Bruteforcing? - A brute force uses a mathematical algorithm to go through to try and eventually crack a password etc

  • 8. What is a DDoS? -A distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack) is an attempt to make a computer unavailable to its internet.

  • 9. What is DOXing? - Doxing is basically finding out information about a person, and using it to find out more.

  • 10. What is a skid? - Someone who downloads hack tools, uses them, and thinks they're unstoppable.



So, second of all - Let's acrhive the most common requested things in this board.
