Seems to me a lot more than 5 exist.

DNS amplification was a big one but I'm not sure by which criteria you are grouping them since it's udp but not standard udp.

all those fall under the UDP category

Underwater hacking cable saturation attack. If you saturate an underwater hacking cable with frames, you cannot use it and it's service is denied.

Stay right, stay whitehat.
:wq!

The thing is like
you can call  30 different TCP attacks
30 different UDP attacks
but it doesn't matter because they're mostly the same.

The last one I have in my mind is exhausting the web server, but buffer overflow is kinda the same as exhausting the webserver.

Just figured out that amplified attack could be the last one.

Yeah amplified / reflector is the same

thx buddy

Yeah xmlrpc = reflector attack.

It's more of a "pingback" attack more than a reflection attack.

Lmao.
Makes me think back when you could get ez 600x amplification rates off of NTP and SNMP without issues.

Well, reflection will set the source IP to the target and use various methods to receive a response to the source.

It's operating on a completely different layer of the OSI model.
