Hitbtc biggest scam ever ! - SIM-1866423 - Apr 14, 2020
They lock my account for "KYS verification" when trying withdrawal.I sent everything to verification now they want things not in their own page ! Motherfuckers trying to harass people and get money at the end.Been reading some comments on reddit seems like a lot people in this situation right now ..
EDIT :
- Passport (open to the double-page spread showing your photo, your name, your date of birth, and the passport expiration date);
- Driver's license (front and back);
- National identity document (front and back).
• The document remains valid for at least 3 months from the submission date or it will not be accepted;

If you send password driver license or NID will be not accepted.They want bills or something i guess ?
How the hell goverment not doing about it against all these reports ?

I am not sure if your account was KYCed before you tried to withdraw but usually this is what happens if your account is not KYCed. Some exchanges let you deposit funds/trade but when it comes to withdrawing your account has to be verified.
I mean these requirements are pretty normal. Every single exchange would look for the same documents. This is why the most important is before you try to deposit to KYC your profile so later you are good to go.
Me personally I have verified (KYCed) account on at least 60 exchanges. And I have seen it everything, the amount of documents that some exchanges request compared to HitBTC or Poloniex, BTC it's insane. Giving you a real example below.
VCC Exchange
During registration they require documents so your account can be fully operational. The procedure is: download their app on your phone, take a picture of your ID (front-back side), take a picture of your passport (cover side and main side), picture of your bank statement (no more than 3 months old), picture of your bank status, proof that you are employed and how much you plan on trading/investing per month/year, selfie of you holding your ID, selfie of you holding your passport, selfie of you holding your ID with a note written "VCC Exchange and the current date", selfie of you holding your passport with a note and finally just a selfie with the note.

Anyway, HitBTC is a piece of shit, I had about 15k on there a few years ago and only managed to withdraw it by cancelling and doign smaller amounts when they locked my first transfer..

same thing happened to me with 4k LOL. had to take it out in .2BTC amounts.

Updated after sending tons of selfie, writing shits etc. they approved my request.And they took 10$ fee for only 287$, so folks please if you read this just stay to fuck out from hitbtc.com ..
