PayPal (held for 180 days) - milw0rm - Apr 14, 2020 Hey, guys, I get my PayPal limited. They permanently limited it, the reason they don't give it they just say " At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account that’s inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services." They don't allow me to upload any doc or anything is there any way to take my money out, I use real CC so I don't wait 180 days. I am done with PayPal for now. RE: PayPal (held for 180 days) - SUI-3183372 - Apr 14, 2020 You can play PayPal Roulette and just keep calling in until you speak to the right rep. If the money is clean and you just broke their ToS, they can release it early. If they fear the money is fraudulently obtained, if they fear you'll receive chargebacks/disputes, or if there's any other reason why they think the money in your account may be at risk, they will not release it early. In any case, I wouldn't try until the last payment you received is at least 30 days old so they feel more confident that it won't be pulled back. RE: PayPal (held for 180 days) - LoremIpsum - Apr 14, 2020 I had this for a few times too, the only thing that helped me, ONCE, was calling them and providing some information by phone. I told them they should reconsider my account being held, as I was verified with bank and I could not add a credit card as "verification" which wasn't possible at that time. The released my account and the rest is history. After that time, I had more and more issues with PayPal. People claiming money back as "unauthorised payments" with that 'well known trick' which I won't mention here as it's pure financial fraud... and I kept either losing my accounts or funds being refunded in some sketchy claim. I decided to never use PayPal for business again, only for personal shopping without adding funds to my account. Milw0rm, did you try calling them by phone? If so, what did they tell you? RE: PayPal (held for 180 days) - Vitaly - Apr 14, 2020 It's basically impossible to get unperm limited, if you phone, they cannot do anything over the phone and direct you to a specific email, once you've emailed that email they will look into your account once, just once. If the rep that took a look at your account says that the ban will remain, then just accept you've lost and wait the 180 days (hope they don't empty your account for 'damages') and move on. RE: PayPal (held for 180 days) - Scrutiny - Apr 14, 2020 I tried multiple times, I had 3 PayPal’s limited with all totaling to about $8,000. They didn’t reverse the limitation on any nor did they release the money early, I had to wait the whole 180 days. They’ll email you when it’s released. As you said, phones are off due to COVID, just be patient man. If you didn't do anything wrong, there's a chance they'll unlimit your account. I was permanently limited because I changed a fucking card on my PP. I called two times, got bullshit story but the 2nd rep gave me some other number of some special department blabla which took them quite some time to make a verdict and unlimit me. If you wanna continue to have a verified account obviously you have to add the new card from your bank. When I entered the details of the new (ofc valid) card, I got perma limited within 3 days lol. |
