This may be my farewell to HF, + making all my Projects over the years Public - Cryptic™ - Apr 14, 2020

Hey there,

I've been on HackForums for a long time and have been pretty inactive over the past two years as I've gotten older and have other priorities in life now.

I was cleaning out my hard drives and came across my old HF projects.

Instead of just deleting them or archiving them, I wanted to make them public to help educate the younger generation here as I'm sure they can use my projects to build projects of their own

I've put everything on GitHub

https://github.com/DevCryptic

CrypticVPN was my most successful business and I made close to $80,000 from it. I decided to sell the VPN business when I noticed the HF Marketplace for VPN's was dying, and the new owner drove it into the ground and it's shutdown.
CrypticVPN | $19 LIFETIME | 1-10 Gbps | Port Forwarding | Offshore | DDoS Protected Note: The CrypticVPN client source is not availiable as I lost that over a year ago

MyAltCoins is a CryptoCurrency Portfolio I started as a side-project. Other HF users beat me to it but it's still a fun lil project none the less. I built it using parts of the CrypticVPN code

MyAltCoins.net | Easily Track and Share your Investments and Profits with others!

OMC-Rates was a site like Preev.com I created when Omni-Coin was a thing years ago
OMC-Rates.com | Your Preev for OmniCoin | New Features Added!

I used to own the group 'The Brotherhood' on HackForums many years ago and we had a signature generator.
You can check out NuWorld's signature. The script is also availiable on the GitHub, you type in whatever you want and it creates a 'Brotherhood' themed signature for you to use. Credits to Disease for making this script

I've had many other ventures and businesses on HF but not all of them required me to build a website/code, like my drop shipping experiments, or selling stuff. This is all I could find.

Everything I could find is public, all the source code is availiable, some projects will just be lost forever. Do with it what you wish. Modify it, study the code, learn something, build your business using it, I don't care as long as you put it to some kind of use.

If you need help getting anything running you can post in this thread but I can't promise I'll be around to help.

Any questions or concerns post below.

Please share this thread with your HF friends in your group chats. I'm sure lots of people can put this to good use.

Nice initiative. I’m sure someone can use this.

Jeez man, what are you up to in life now? Still online ventures? Physical biz? Taking a mini retirement? lol

The first few weeks of not working and doing whatever you want is great, but then you get bored and you need to find something to fulfill you. A 9-5 job is not what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I travelled to Mexico last December and was in Portugal in February.

Too young to retire, I want to start up a real business but have no ideas right now.

Graduated university las year, and got a job in cyber-security because of the boredom and am working from home for the next few months due to the corona virus and thinking of what my next business venture should be.

I want to do something meaningful that'll leave a legacy for my kids (eventually when I have them), and also something that will help other people. I just don't know what that is yet.

Good on you for passing it on rather than just trashing it. Glad to see a little philanthropy. And congrats on making a million! I can't even imagine what that would be like lol.

You're definitely an inspiration, mate. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? You seem to have a lot figured out pretty early into life.

Why not take this time to try out new things? Hobbies you've always been interested in. It's pretty easy to turn what you love into a career these days. I'm 28 years old and still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do though, haha.

I remember you from long time ago. You were quite popular so to say. It's kinda depressing reading your post, but I guess everyone will eventually move to bigger things and won't have time to stick around.

I wish you good luck in future ventures!

25 right now :)

I'm a very out-doorsy person I hate being indoors and this corona virus quarantine is driving me crazy. I can't go outside and do the things I wanna enjoy and it looks like it'll be like this for at least 6-12 months.

As for doing what I love career wise, I have yet to figure that out. I got into cyber security because it seemed interesting but I don't get so excited about it now days. I'm more interested in Azure/Cloud consulting so I'll look into that. I need to get my CISSP because I've been putting that off far too long.

First off, congrats on obtaining all of this success and moving on with your life. Second off, thanks for making everything public thats huge. I've seen you around the forums for years, all though I don't think we've done any deals it'll be sad not to see you anymore.

Good luck in whatever life brings to you next
