Trying to get a twitch viewbot working - pythonnoob2 - Apr 14, 2020 Hello Everyone, I am trying to get an old twitch viewbot working again. I've gone through and made some edits to code. Mostly removing livestreamer.exe and adding in streamlink.exe, it's predecessor. The bot does send head requests, but no views are showing up in the channel. Can anyone assist? [paste]pastebin.com/n0sZQefx[/paste] Thanks! RE: Trying to get a twitch viewbot working - CDKEYS4BTC - Apr 15, 2020 I would recommend you to use selenium instead of requests. You will be seen more like real human not a bot. RE: Trying to get a twitch viewbot working - pythonnoob2 - Apr 15, 2020 Ah ok, thank you for suggestion. Is that as simple as installing selenium and then doing import selenium? or is there further editing needed? That would be a start but looking at your code, you'll need to re write some of it but it shouldn't be a huge task since selenium isn't hard to figure out and I find it a little easier than requests to learn. Here is the documentation: https://selenium-python.readthedocs.io/ RE: Trying to get a twitch viewbot working - CDKEYS4BTC - Apr 15, 2020 I guess that some further edits would be needed. Hit me up on discord, I can help you with this one. The only problem with selenium is that it takes up massive amounts of ressources compared to requests. We have the code semi working, but it eats up alot of resources. Would requests still work? RE: Trying to get a twitch viewbot working - longerestcat - May 1, 2020 any luck on this project? been looking for a stable viewbot that works with proxy list for a long time now RE: Trying to get a twitch viewbot working - ihatevim - May 1, 2020 (Apr 16, 2020 09:22 AM)pythonnoob2 Wrote: Games trash... imo. Late response, but since the thread is up anyways... You could use requests and randomize header data. Requests has the tools necessary through headers and socks to forge "realistic-ish" identities. Selenium is not made for resource optimization. In theory, it should work. It's an old twitch bot that I updated with streamlink, opposed to livestreamer. It utilizes requests but I'm not sure I have the header data randomized. As my name states, I am a noob lol RE: Trying to get a twitch viewbot working - ihatevim - May 4, 2020 (May 2, 2020 12:12 PM)pythonnoob2 Wrote: Can I share some code with you?
