Greetings
A friend of mine is constantly bugged by a stalker. He's a pretty bad dude, and has threatened to do things. Due to certain things he's posted we know he knows of her IRL. She won't go to the police, because its not serious yet. I want to be able to figure out who he is. In the past I've done some simple stuff like find peoples IP address by baiting them to click a link in an email, I know its very simple. This dude is really desperate and I definitely could get him to click links and probably even enter information if I had some sort of facade set up. He's using a fake snapchat account to 'harass' her so i feel like that could be helpful.
What's the best way to do this? I know this is more of like phishing than hacking but any help is appreciated.

Your best shot would be to IP log the target & run some basic DB lookups on the IP address. From there you'd have their email/usernames and you can figure out who he/she is. social engineering is also a option here. If you need more assistance, hit me up on Telegram or via convo/pm.

New User Here, you can bait him with a ip logger just be careful what you send to the stalker on snapchat, as snapchat tests all links. IP Loggers should be okay if you go through grabbify or something similar, however using a phish for information will not work through snapchat. If you need help talking about social engineering let me know.
