I'm sure many of you have already heard of the $1200 corona check going out to "every American". Well, that isn't entirely true. If you are an adult and still live at home with your parents, and they claimed you as a dependent on their tax return, you aren't eligible and will be getting $0. I don't know if this petition has potential to do anything, but for what it's worth, please sign it. Thanks!

Congress actually proposed something to try and help out. "All Dependents Count Act" Hope it goes through, I actually had to sent in an amdment so I won't be getting my trump bucks anytime soon.

Change.org automatically sets the goal at 100 signatures and increases the tiers as more people sign. I would have put a million if it let me.

They are excluded for a reason because they are useless they don’t work why would the government give them money for literally just sitting at home? This epidemic right is probably just another normal day for a young adult with no job so why would they deserve money?

I moved back with my parents and they don't claim as a dependent. Unless your parents are paying all your expenses you shouldn't allow them to claim you. Get a job and file your own taxes.

Being a dependent doesn't mean you can't work, it just means your parents provide housing and cover most of your living expenses.

Thank you for your Signature bro. Whether taxpayers will have to pay for it or if it inflates the dollar, it's still more profitable for us as of now. Even with a 2 trillion dollar deficit, it's still better than the overall deficit at the peak of Obama's presidency.

Many kids don't even know that their parents claimed them as a dependent, that's the thing. Often times, it saves your parents much more than $1200 by using you as a dependent which is good but it still isn't fair that Trump gets to say "A check to ALL AMERICANS" when in fact it's non-dependent Americans. As much as I like Trump, we want our cash too lol.
