Ideas on Accessing Minecraft Dedicated Server Files On Another Network - rigerian - Apr 14, 2020

Hey guys,

So, my friend started a Minecraft Technic Launcher "The 1.12.2 Pack" server recently for our friends. We are all buddy's since childhood and still hang out.

I want to hack it, grant myself powers etc. - not to destroy the server. Instead, make things tenfold easier for me when it would normally take him ages to gather the resources.

Reasons being:
  1. Tinkering with what I thought would work all day was so fun that I haven't stopped for hours. I don't know what I am doing, but each trail and error I answer questions I have had. Its addicting.

  2. He can be fuckin smug about tech. I'm over it. And now that he runs the server.... You can imagine



I decided to post in Beginner Hacking because I am a beginner. I considered the Gaming forms - however I think I need to 'hack' his network rather than Minecraft. If you have another suggestion I am all ears.

After many attempts and methods of installation I finally realized that even if I install a hacked MC Client, it wouldn't work because his server isn't set to offline... That means he has the server files.

So far I think these are my options
  • Get him to launch a RAT somehow - though he is smart enough not to run a random .exe

  • Access his local network online and do the above myself. I have the dedicated server's IP but couldn't

  • Go to his house and wait for him to leave the room, grant myself OP, and profit.



I've installed the same files so I can try and have a better understanding, but I've sort of hit a wall. I am tinkering with RatRevenge and reading up on accessing networks remotely. Am I looking in the wrong places?

There is something like a "Minecraft RAT" available. Once the plugin is installed on the server the attacker has full control over the entire host. Requirement is spigot/bukkit. PM me for the source.
