When is it sales trashing? - Perileos - Apr 22, 2020

Hi.

So awhile back I had a negative experience with a seller on the forum, he was incredibly rude and pushy. Without even hearing to what I wanted, he sent me a contract and would only further discuss my desires if I accepted the contract. As you can imagine, I did not accept the contract and just removed the guy from Discord.

I wanted to leave a comment on his thread about his behaviour to aggressively pushing people into accepting the contract but I feel like it'd be branded as sales trashing.

The rule states the following:
"13. Sales trashing - discouraging a sale without proper reason or pointing to the thread of competitor product/service; Customers (that have an Active/Completed/Disputed Contract with the vendor) posting negative reviews is not a violation and should not be reported as such. Users abusing this option will be sanctioned."

So my question is, when is it sales trashing if you're leaving a negative comment?

When staff decides it is sales trashing. We're not going to reveal how we personally evaluate if a post is seen as sales trashing. Everything is case-to-case basis and there's no straight answer.

If you reported something as sales trashing and it hasn't been removed, then probably it isn't sales trashing. If you have a post you'd like to review, then send me a message.
