Remove "Close thread" option in DD section - AYMG - May 1, 2020

I've seen a few times how OP disputed a contract and after some time just closed the thread.

Closing the thread prevents the defendant to reply or update the thread with the new info, as well as other members who would like to reply.

Imo this should be removed, you either mark the contract as resolved or you don't.

Another suggestion I have thought about myself, and one that I would like to see introduced. I think its counter-productive to allow a user to close a dispute thread.

It doesn't make any sense, I had no idea you can do it until I saw Yert doing it.

I agree. It would be good to see. Stanley should be the last post in a closed DD thread.

Also, some people think closing the thread marks the dispute as resolved.

Actually, that kinda makes sense.

Come on look at this, he disputes because someone else did (surely that’s against some rule) and then locks the thread because he knows for sure I would have called him the fuck out. He has done this for every single dispute, its a fucking joke.

How the fuck can that clown say opening a dispute is against his TOS? wtf

Well, another reason for this to be removed.
And he's the fugger indeed.
Thanks for adding this.

There are no terms of service in his thread or in the contract.

When people write opening a dispute isn't allowed in the TOS section they usually mean dispute on PP transaction.

No this guy literally means a dispute on HF, he does it to everyone who disputes him. Word on the street its two people who actually run the HF account, the troublesome partner who is the one racking up the disputes and opening the bullshit disputes, and then the other partner who refunds everyone when he gets back on. Can’t wait for his account to be closed.

He closed it again, lol.

It must be his bipolar partner on the account right now.

This guy is a perfect example of why a dispute should not have the ability to be locked.

it wasn't him who opened it.

вlυғғ opened a dispute against Lil Wolf
https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6075239

after that Lil Wolf  also did the same LOL
https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6075560
but closed it immediately to prevent the accused user from defending his side.

hopefully Xerotic will consider this suggestion.
