Web Application Pentesting - 2xTheTap115 - May 5, 2020

I warmly welcome🙂
As in the subject, I'm starting to learn the basics of web application pentests. And here is my question, do you have any books / materials that you should read at the beginning of learning this issue? I will be grateful for every answer👍

There is a book called "the web application hacker's handbook" which is very good.
I would really recommend that you start learning some basic html, javascript, sql and php because this will give you a much deeper understanding of how the web applications actually work.

Also take a look at some practical Certifications! The EWAPT is good and there are some good available PDF Dumps out there.

Head over to bugcrowd or hackerone as well and take a look at Bug Bounties!

I'd love to take a look at this🙂 And as for the certification, I will tell you that I do not intend to do it because my professional path is completely different and I treat all hacking related things as a passion. I like to develop in this field and I learn it for myself. Despite everything, thank you for valuable tips🙂👍

Yea that is understandable! Still definetly take a look at the PDFs though. They are explained very well and will help you build your knowledge!

You are partly right, but I must admit that there are exceptions to every rule. I know a little hacking myself and although I learned to program in Python and Ruby, this is not my strong point🙂
