Question about B ratings - βaked - May 7, 2020

So this might be a silly question, but I have just been scammed by a member in the community. I opened up a dispute, left him a bad B rating, as you do.

The user although left me a bad rating too, which as a new member it doesn’t look good and I will most likely have to be explaining this in future deals, as I do plan on sticking around.

So my question is... since I was the one who got scammed, can this negative B rating be removed? If so, how do I go about this? What should I do now regarding this situation?

Sorry for the newbie question but I have been here for a short period of time.

If you guys want to also see what dispute and maybe help out my case, the thread link is below.

I'm pretty sure it stays. You to have to work it out to settle the ratings and mutually agree to switch it to positive is the best way to handle this.

I recommend working it out as that could cause further lost business.

That's absolutely terrible if that's how it works. Scammers should not be able to leave B ratings.

B-ratings are a faulty system. They won't leave your profile if the person who left them doesn't remove them.

Unless you two come to an agreement you are stuck with the negative rating.

I honestly feel if someone gets a dispute opened against them they shouldn’t be able to leave a b rating against the claimant until resolved.

The point of the B rating is to draw attention to the reason why they have a negative rating, people that look into it (anyone with over 60 IQ) would generally notice who's in the right/wrong.

That being said, there's no such thing as a perfect system.
And no, the supposed scammer doesn't get banned unless he does some braindead sht like admitting to scamming.

Take matters into your own hands, especially if you deal with children.

But we are not there to determine who scammed who. That is why both parties can leave a negative B-rating.
@OP, it will stay on your profile unless you resolve it with the user in question yourself.
