Is Python a well-rounded scripting language? - ultrarise - May 8, 2020

I know I should use different language for different tasks, but what about Python?

If I would like to write a internet scan (i.e. pinging machine or port)...
or a simple client/server program (listening on specific port/socket)...
or I would like to run some specific OS command (Linux, Win, Mac) on the guest machine...
or automatize some tasks...

Are all these possible to implement with Python or do I have some limitation?

Because Python is machine independent, can I suppose it's something like write-and-forget?
