[SPOILER] UFC 249 Talk - Hero - May 10, 2020
This is a thread about the UFC 249.
What's your opinion about the main fight? I can't believe that Tony lost man. He seemed so into it the whole fight and then last round he got too dazed. I thought its gonna be more of a ground battle because thats where tony might f him up.
But he will come back stronger, i believe so!

Tony is a beast of a fighter. I favored him, in fact I was certain he'd win. That's the issue though, Justin is a great fighter too with good stats in his name. I personally underestimated him and judging by Tony's reaction at the end, he possibly did the same himself.

Agreed on that. Justin connected with so many clean punches, which even for tony, made him hurt.
I felt like tony was trying to wear him out for too long, until to a point where he simply couldn't bring up the explosiveness which we all love in Tony.
But yeah, you gotta lose at some point to really value the wins.

I always wanted Tony to fight with Khabib tbh. If you're up to watch a beating, this is the fight. They cancel it everytime though.

Yeah the fight is not gonna happen anytime soon. Probaly next year, we'll see.
One man can dream, but i wanna see a nate diaz vs Justin gaethje fight. Both incredible strong fighters.
