Just when you thought PayPal couldn't get any worse - DNA - May 13, 2020

This will be the only news thread I post that doesn't contain a link to the original source.
Thread was moved to a more appropriate section.

Current Issues:

°Large Amounts, will not have their money refunded instantly, if it needs to be approved by a manager/ supervisor.
Cases where this might apply;
Successful Appeals,
Credits &/ Refunds of a certain amount by PayPal

°Call centres in Australia are closed since Friday and a PayPal employee has confirmed they are working from home after she offered to call me.

°Message Centre clogged, minimum wait for myself was 3 hours

This is where morality comes into play.
"I could fuck PayPal, but that makes me no better than them".

Yeah I seen that the other day somewhere when I was making a payment I believe mostly bad but could be good if you’re a seller who gets refunded by a lot of bullshit costumers

You say this now, until you encounter the type of hemorrhoid that charges you back for $500, amongst the coronavirus, 12 days after successful appeal, still no refund.

Maybe it's the type of people you deal with.

The more HVT your goals, the less scammers are interested.

It's not easy to bilk a million dollars out of someone
It is easy to bilk a million people of a dollar.

Might be, but I have always wondered, seen it since I joined the forum in 2009, people complained then and complains today, I guess if you do some semi-illegal shit its higher risk of getting in their TOS.

Hence why I won my case on appeal, because I run a legitimate business and they could see this was out of the ordinary for my account usage which consists of Telcos, Data Centers and menulog.

It also has to do with how they operate.
Example, I could buy your Apple iPad for $1500, I then receive your item.

I go to PayPal, Item not as described, send you a box of fruit loops or some weird shit and the system will automatically approve it in my favour.

However, item not as described cases does not work for digital products thank fuck
