Multi-Threading - -DarkByDesign- - May 14, 2020 Hi guys, So can you turn a headless mozilla viewer python code into a multi-threading processes, so its doesn't eat your RAM and your CPU usage, but opening to many multiple windows? Let me know, this is very interesting and if it can be achieved, I'm looking to pay for a bit of development. Thanks Kind regards, -D🐱👤 RE: Multi-Threading - 4Txe4y33C9zvNhMj - May 15, 2020 Just send the requests yourself, no point in emulating a complete browser RE: Multi-Threading - -DarkByDesign- - May 15, 2020 The thing is using Selenium emulating browsers work for Twitch.tv but uses up a lot, as were in using requests it seems that Twitch.tv has some parameters to deter and shadowban proxies instantly using that method. I'm just trying to find a way around Twitch to be able to inflate live viewers and have it work stable without burning resources. Maybe using selenium in headless mode will help free up some ram? what headless mode does is, it hides the browser window(s) while running selenium. RE: Multi-Threading - -DarkByDesign- - May 15, 2020 Hi Beyonder, Already using headless browser, it still eats up CPU and RAM. I have 64GB of ram and running a Ryzen 3900 X - Can just about get 40 instances without it hitting 100% RE: Multi-Threading - Beyonder - May 15, 2020 (May 15, 2020 02:35 AM)-DarkByDesign- Wrote: Hi Beyonder, Then you should look in to requests or some other library and start figuring out how to bypass Twitch shadow bans etc, not an easy task but I am sure its possible. I wish you the best of luck ✌ RE: Multi-Threading - -DarkByDesign- - May 15, 2020 Thank you, I have few programmers working on it, will see what they come up with ;) fingers crossed. :) RE: Multi-Threading - Athr - May 15, 2020 (May 15, 2020 02:43 AM)-DarkByDesign- Wrote: Thank you, I have few programmers working on it, will see what they come up with ;) fingers crossed. :) Other posters gave good advice. Selenium will be very inefficient. You can use the Network Monitor tool available in browsers to see what the browser sends to twitch and try to replicate it. |
