Largest Scams - SIM-76756743 - May 18, 2020
Fairly new and it got me thinking after I saw many disputes. What's the biggest scam that happened on HackForums? How much was it for and how did it happen?

User called Anonymous, he scammed for ALOT of money. $50k+ atleast.

Thanks for this, interesting read to refresh some memories. So many of the replies from people who were "big" at that time and got closed later

Why did such a large transaction not involve any middlemen or 3rd parties at that time?

Let's say I scam you;
And I tell you it'll take like 3 days before I have "time" to give my product to you, you wait 3 days. But in these 3 days I scam others. That's how he kinda did it.

That was certainly a wild ride. I remember I wore Anonymous' signature for a vpn a day and he gave me $100 for it. All i remember was something about doing coke, someone meeting up with him or something. It was a long story.

Didn't know the Anonymous scam so I'm gonna read about it know since it's so major. The biggest scam I've read about here would be like 2-3k$ worth of scam.

I could imagine someone selling a "useless" ebook or product to multiple users in a short period of time could startle the general audience. Usually, members on forums gather a sufficient amount of positive rep and beef up their accounts in order to pose as trusted or reputable. In the end, it's not worth the gamble.

I have been scammed $50, $100 and few $20s here and there on HF on products but never reported it.
