Medical Course Scam targeting med students - Abradolf Lincler - May 18, 2020

https://www.drnajeeblectures.com/

My daughter is in her first year med school, she bought this $5 promotion on medical lecturer course but ended up getting charged $99.
And they only show the terms & condition after payment saying you have to watch 8 hours of their videos within 24 hours to get the $94 refund.
They dont reply to email, they dont send invoice or receipt after payment.

after checking the trustpilot we found out we are not the only victim

He's actually a very reputable doctor and his medical course is actually very good, but this is really unethical...

Is there anywhere i could report this site or do something about it?

You could try to report to BBB but if he had it say that somewhere might not be much to be done

Yeah it is I canceled a rental house back in February and just a week ago I got my refund for it finally.
Ended up disputing with my card provider

Quote:Standard price you get charged is $99 for lifetime access but as for limited time you have the opportunity to get it for $5 which is around 95% OFF after completing the milestones in accordance to our terms and conditions.

This is why reading is important. It's clear there are stipulations to getting it for $5.

Is this shady? Sort of but not really when it's pretty clear there is a catch involved.

This ain’t shady at all. It’s a promo and they explicitly tell you how to fall into the promo

If they show the terms and conditions only after paying then that's kind of sketchy. If there is anywhere on the website that says that you'll have to watch 8 hours for a refund then that's just marketing. It's like pulling into a gas station that says the gas is $1.50. Get to the pump and it says you're paying $1.70. Look closer at the sign and it's $1.50 for reward members. That's just advertising.

It's a shitty way of trying to get moeny of people that don't expect it. They might get away with it for now since they mention it in the ToS but people have to pursue them to change them.

Next time do your due diligence. This is 100% your fault, you should always read the ToS before paying. $5 medical course should have seemed too good to be true, which should have prompted your daughter to read the ToS.

I hate to say it man, and it's a grimey thing for them to make you watch 8 hours in 24 hours, but they did it. Just gonna have to take that one brother.
