Who is OP8?
  • OP8 is made up of a small group of highly trained individuals in various software and security fields.
  • OP8 strives to produce AAA quality products and services to the HackForums community.
  • OP8 staff and team members share in all the group profits. (Get paid to be in a group, not the other way around!)
  • OP8 members will receive professional training, private methods, exclusive offers, and much more.
Not just another group...

The core OP8 team is a skilled group of software developers, security researchers and systems engineers with experience in different aspects of the information technology industry. We strive to share and collaborate but most importantly learn about how things work. Coming from different groups throughout the internet, our core team has been active since 2001. We have a burning desire to understand the systems that we use most often, to try and exploit them. Not only to benefit ourselves, but to benefit those that use them. We aren't a group of hackers for hire. We are not a political movement or cause. We are a group of people who like to push the boundaries and question everything.

Would I fit in?

That's a tough question, take a look below at some of the things we like to talk about. In general if you answer yes to any of the following questions, you'd probably fit.
  • Do you like to take things apart to see how they work?
  • Do you feel the need to jailbreak/root/mod everything you get?
  • Can you count cards/calculate odds/really good at algebra?
  • Do you enjoy patterns? Can you identify patterns easily?
  • Are you good at memory or strategy based games?
  • Do you find superfluous rules to be a waste of time?
  • Do you commonly solve challenges differently than others?
What is OP8's focus?
  • Leaks. (Databases, Rawerror logs, RAT metadata, packet logs, private code, and more.)
  • Exploits. (Public, Semi-Private, Private, and even 0-day)
  • Security. (OPSEC, INFOSEC, risk mitigation, and vulnerability assessment)
  • Privacy. (VPNs, Qubes/Kali/Tails, PGP, and other risk mitigation methods)
  • Informational Software as a Service (SHODAN, Vega, Skipfish, etc)

User CP Application Requirements
  • Member of HackForums.net for at-least six (6) months.
  • Minimum of 500 posts

Remember that you are applying to a group with the intention of becoming a part of a team. You will be working together with others and with that comes a shared level of responsibility. You should try to give links, examples, and a general idea of why you should be accepted into the body of your application.

This recruitment is open to everyone, no upgrade requirements and can easily be done via User CP

Goodluck to all the applicants, good group.

I shall submit my application to user cp

RE: [OFFICIAL GROUP] [OP8] OPEN RECRUITMENT - ALL MEMBERS - Xamarin - May 20, 2020

It looks like a nice group, and a great overall presentation.

Unfortunately I have the interest on the field, but not the necessary post amount to submit an application.

That being said, I wish good luck to any other member applying!

It's not a meme application, saying silly stuff in the application will not help you get into the group.

I may have quoted you by accident but some people are entering like "I have nice feet" which is funny and all but not how you're going to get in.

Links to code or even pm me why you think you should be a part of our group. We are developers and engineers we aren't just accepting everyone who requests...

Hope to welcome new members, would love to see some new faces in our group :)

Also make sure to send non-stupid applications (cute feet are not a reason to join ok)

RE: [OFFICIAL GROUP] [OP8] OPEN RECRUITMENT - ALL MEMBERS - Mesmaroth - Jun 1, 2020

I would love to join this group. Sadly I don't meet the requirements, maybe next recruitment I can apply. Good luck to anyone trying to get in. Code on!
