Hi,
i tried to check my username for data leak in leakpeek, and i found one of my old password is leaked.
The database source is hackforum.

probably from like 2014 or 2017 or whatever that breach was.

Wrong forum and probably the 2009 leak which is outdated, you didn't change your pass for 11 years ?

The hackforums database breach is very old so unless you're a multiaccounter you aren't on it.
If you are on it it's not like the site can really do anything, just change your password anywhere you use it and as a general tip never reuse passwords, use a password manager or write them down on a piece of paper.

The event was from 2011 and all passwords have since been required to be reset here. As safe practice you should use a different password for each unique service you use.

It shouldn't really matter if you don't use the same password for everything.

I'm laughing if OP hasn't changed his password in a decade and even worse if he used an HF password across other sites too. Jeez.

I really hope OP didn't think he stumbled upon some major conspiracy and was shedding the light on it only to find out his password is just a decade old. 😂
