I'm not sure if this is safe or not reason im asking. I use a vm but want to setup my rat so It won't link back to me. I tried to see if i can setup my ports from router but it won't connect via vm and don't really wanna mess with my router anyways.

Will this method still work ini 2020 or is it not safe to do. Obv scratch out the vpn he suggested atm I use [censored] so I don't need his vpn he suggested. Lmk if you guys have a better method to secure my rat without port fowarding if that is a thing.

aww man what's a good vpn for that also is it secure to do it this way vs router setup.

nvpn is a good one.
if you dont want to use vpn then best secure way is port mapping.

There is a vpn called cryptic vpn which allows you to use the service for $25 USD life time. No logs, port forward, switch servers for cheap price under 5 USD. I think the GUI is far more easy than nvpn. I rather use cryptic vpn compared to nvpn but nvpn is still a high quality vpn and when you use RAT your connection speed is very fast and reliable. Cryptic VPN has some time connecting but is still reliable and only 6 USD per month. I just purchased cryptic vpn for 2 days.
After you download the config.ovpn. get open vpn client and put your config in the config folder.
