Hello, today I ran 3 miles in 29 minutes. I pushed myself really hard to do it. I’ve been powerlifting for years but for the past month I’ve wanted to do cardio for my heart. Usually my resting heart rate when I wake up is about 57 bpm. Today it got up to 190, and a half hour later it’s at 120. Is it normal for my heart to recover slower after intense cardio?
