The cart becomes before the horse. You should be learning programming and computer science, not bruteforcing and port scanning random networks or trying XSS stuff when you don't even know JavaScript.
Learn math, programming, linguistics, whatever, and then make your own unique, creative stuff. Just don't waste your time with these tools because I can promise you that you won't get anywhere, and you'll just be wasting your time.
