Ability to hide Discord Tag / ID from Trust Scan - flavoral - Jun 16, 2020
Few users might be aware of some of the new features being added around discord which include authenticating your discord account with your HF account.
Which then displays your Discord Tag and ID in your TS.
Not sure how many people might be interested in this, but would it be possible to be able to hide the Discord Tag from Trust Scan page?
EDIT: [mention=1306528] suggested 3 options which i think are the best options: An option to be public, share with comrades, or hidden.

If you don't want your tag to be shown, don't join the HF discord and auth with the bot.

Yeah i'm aware of that. Just looking to see if there's anyone else who could be interested in that.
Also UB3Rs already are the only ones able to access TS anyways, so i guess this might not get much approval.

It doesn't matter if people can see your Discord ID, they can view it themselves as long as they're using developer mode so it's nothing private to begin with.
I do understand the not wanting your Discord tag public though.

He talking about the ability to get the Discord Unique ID of someone from enabling the Dev Mode on discord.

No he was saying he wanted the Discord ID not to be shown, I was simply just telling him that a Discord ID is public anyway, all you need to do is have developer mode enabled on Discord and you can view anyone's Discord ID which you can use to figure out when they created their account, etc..

I completely agree.
A user should be able to verify their discord and use the perks of that without sharing their profile information publicly.
An option to be public, share with comrades (shout out to mother Russia), or hidden should be available just like all other profile attributes are.
Seems like 3 reasonable options.

Everyone in our official channel MUST BE VERIFIED.
Everyone verified will have their Discord in the Trust Scan and potentially Profile page too.
And this is the real "FUCK YOU" on your suggestion. I will disallow ANY posting or sharing of a Discord ID on the site unless it is VERIFIED.
I'll start closing accounts, I don't give a fuck about your damn bullshit. This is going to help stop scammers.
And if you got a problem with sharing your Discord in the ways mentioned then you don't need to be on HF's Channel.
