We're only in June, almost July. There's 5 full months left for 2020 to redeem itself. For some individuals 2020 will still be their best year, for example if you won the lottery you're gonna love 2020

It's pretty awful but worse things have happened around WW2 and now. Many many more people have died in WW2 alone.
2019 and so far in 2020 have been shit for me also. 2020 was my "this year will be better!" year lol.

WW2 started in 1939 and ran steady till 1945. 2020 sucks so far, yeah. But I wouldn't go as far as to say it beats out WW2 or many other crises for that mater.
