Locally logging into a MacBook Air without the password - Notjvlol - Jul 4, 2020
Hey all!
Is there a way to locally logging into a MacBook Air without knowing the laptop’s password? Apparently there’s a way to turn it on in recovery mode, however that would reset the perviously set password. I’m looking to log in without changing the original password. Thanks!

I don't think there's any way of doing it unless you reset the entire hard drive. But I don't think that will work for you.

Old method (2018), don't know if still works, but you could give it a try:

There are ISO's floating around for this somewhere.
