Iphone XS max ghost touching - m4k1 - Jul 18, 2020
Hello everyone!
I have a problem with my Iphone XS Max.
Everything worked absolutely fine until the touch screen suddenly stopped working properly.
Phone is not damaged or anything else, doesn't have a single scratch.
It is interesting that the phone works great when i'm not using it for 1 hour.
But when i try to tap on screen or do something little faster , it becomes unresponsive and it clicks
everything else ( ghost touching ) .Then i must wait 1 hour to get normal.
Note that when i'm tapping on screen slower, the phone works fine.
I don't have any idea what would cause this problem? Is it system (software) failure ,
motherboard failure or touch IC problem ?

You should visit the Apple Care centre and let them diagnose it.
From the info you have its most likely Touch Panel's fault.

123 Thank's for the answer. I assumed that the problem is Touch Panel, but i wasn't 100% sure.
The problem is i have no warranty anymore ( 1 year and 2 months have been passed ), and i don't know how much it will cost me.
Is it cheaper to repair (by myself) ,buy parts somewhere else ( like aliexp.. etc )?

Update: It was software problem. It's solved.
