Hack Facebook And Gmail Account Without Leaving Traces - sollallesrauf - Jul 26, 2020

As a hacker is targeting me, I set up two throwaway accounts (Facebook, Gmail) without two-factor authentication as a trap, and, indeed, the attacker deleted an email in Gmail and marked unread notifications as read in Facebook right before my eyes.

Unfortunately, though, the login protocols show nothing whatsoever; they got in and out without being noticed by the system. So my question is: how advanced do they have to be to achieve that?

If you have been infected with a RAT or are a connection a botnet its easy to take your ip and use it as a proxy.

I only use iPhone and iPad with the cellular network, and I’m currently running the i(Pad)OS 14 Public Beta. The abuse has been going on for almost two years, though.

If you’re interested in my predicament, here’s something spicy: An email that was recently sent to my iCloud address was deleted before I got to see it although the account is protected by two-factor authentication (three devices) and a thirty-two-digit random password (maximum length). Could someone have hacked Apple’s servers directly, or is it something on my devices? I have a hard time imagining how some kind of i(Pad)OS malware would persist this many software updates.
