It is insane the journey this forum has been on, and also interesting to browse through the early stages of it.

What is your opinion, has the forum made any progress?

Just the fact that HF stayed being myBB blows my mind haha, around this time, almost forum software I've seen was vBulletin and phpBB, actually HF is probably the first myBB forum I've ever visited.

Insane, shit's crazy how different it was from the start. And you can see that Omni was really hhoping for the site to blow up, which it did.

Having Xerotic in the developement team made a lot better out of Hack Forums. The games made us talk to each other more.

Omni also has a wide knowledge of coding plugins I believe since I've seen him post plugins in the early days.

Wow, just a thought of it being almost old as me...

Couldn't agree more, the amount of work done over the last few years is insane!

HF has definitely made progress. I joined first in 2010 and back then this was the only few places to run on MyBB. Lots of forums were using IPB, VB and phpBB and most of these forums were dropping out coz the owners were not devs themselves and couldnt keep their sites secure. Omni on the other hand was proficient in MyBB and hence not many breaches for HF and its still going strong with no change in ownership.

It’s been a long time since I registered and I’ve lurked for years, occasionally buying things and chipping in - great to see how we’ve developed and the direction the forums continue to go in! Thanks Omni and the whole team!

You don't have to even ask about progress, well done Omni.
