What's something you wish you started doing earlier in life? - flavoral - Aug 12, 2020

Everyday we start doing new stuff and new bobbies.

What's something that you wish you started doing a long time ago rather just now?

Learning to code with Swift and create an app with my brother.
Its still out there on the table, I should maybe start doing it.

Investing. Think before I buy. Learn about compound interest.

Not even learning it earlier, don't even currently now how to code for shit other than for the basics.
You know how to code?

Two things, one was coding and the other was training, this may be my only regret.

Had a shit diet as a kid while doing tons of sports exercise (running, football, tennis) so was underweight as opposed to overweight despite being really fit from the waist down. Finally got around to working out once COVID hit after having fixed my diet a couple years prior and results have already been immense. Would recommend to anyone.

i wish i'm able to maintain the same level of workout as i used to be.

I sort of wish I studied finance when I was younger, but that's a bit unrealistic, so maybe drawing, I've always hesitated on starting when I was young because of how untalented I was, compared to others, only on my 20s or so did I realize that hard work can also beat talent sometimes.

Coding (obligatory)

Probably learning to play an instrument. Would love to actually know how to play guitar.

Also learning a second language. Currently in my first week of learning Russian

Definetly investing/saving

A lot of the money I made when I was younger went to bitcoin gambling unfortunately

I wish I was more suspicious of gurus. It would have saved me tons of money and time.

Most people deserve the benefit of the doubt, but not internet marketers.

I wished I had learnt how to invest, stock market, etc. Also being responsible and having a savings account since my early teens and putting a fixed amount of money away in a bank account monthly for retirement. I imagine how much money would be there now if I had started way earlier.

i wish I had started exerting more self control years back. I wouldve been able to be much more successful and productive then.

I wish I started working on my depression a long time ago. I can't imagine how much more I could have done in this time if I weren't depressed.
