Ethernet Hardwiring Help - High Council - Aug 19, 2020 Sup HF Users, So I went to a training in another state ordered by the pentagon and while I was gone for a months while my family upgraded our modem. I came back to one of my devices not working, and I called a technician and essentially there latest modem had a bug. He ended up changing the modem to the previous version, and we're paying for 1GB internet. When he left I noticed around the house we're only getting like 4 down vs previous 200-400 via wifi. I am now with the problem that my providers don't offer hardwiring, and I even went out of my way to buy 6 of their pods which did 0 change literally. Where do I find someone to hardwire our house for ethernet? Update: I found out electricians can do this :p best regards RE: Ethernet Hardwiring Help - Nima304 - Aug 20, 2020 Just do it yourself. Wiring Ethernet cables isn't hard, any running them isn't super difficult unless your house is fully finished. I ran CAT 8.1 to drops all over my house, as well as two WAPs for WiFi, and it only took some time and the cost of materials. A buddy and I knocked it out in a day or two. |
