linking lib files c++ VS - evlmonster - Sep 1, 2020 Hey guys ive recently got back into coding after 5 years. Im working with the crypto++ 8.2 library for c++. Im currently running Visual Studios 17 c++. I was able to download the project and create a lib file. Then i went and added the link on the my new project but every time i try to compile the program it tells me it cant find the header files im linking to. According the Microsofts support page i linked it correctly. I just need to figure out how to link it correctly if its even compatible or should i go with VS c++ 19? The guide i originally followed programmingknowledgeblog. blogspot .com /2013/04/ compiling-and-integrating-crypto-into.html RE: linking lib files c++ VS - HFDone - Sep 2, 2020 tut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDvbE7LQDqE examples https://github.com/weidai11/cryptopp RE: linking lib files c++ VS - evlmonster - Sep 2, 2020 Thank you, ended up getting it to work but it required an extra step for vs 17. |
